"Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty." (TNIV)
Okay, I have been guilty of this one. Haven't we all? I think most of us grow out of it. Chasing fantasies will get us nothing. We need to use what God has given us to be productive with our talents and He will bless us. His word doesn't say might, it says we "will have abundant food" if we work. What better way to work than doing something you love? If you are not in a job you enjoy ask God to help you work to the best of your ability and ask him to allow a way for you to start doing something you love. It is not impossible. Pray for God to give you strength and be open to the possiblity of doing something you enjoy.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your word. You are awesome. Lord, I pray that you will bless my work. Help me to work well under any circumstance. Father I ask that you will make a way for me to make a living out of the desires that you put in my heart. I want to follow your will. Thank you for putting specific talents in me and help me to use them for you. I ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.
